Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    6 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Separate egg yolks and beat egg whites separately in a bowl. Cream butter and egg yolks.
    Sift flour and soda.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream.
    Add vanilla, then fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
