Super Duper Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. half and half
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in their jackets until tender (better to undercook than to overcook).
    Put into refrigerator and chill for 24 hours.
    Warm in saucepan the margarine, half and half and salt. Peel potatoes and grate into large bowl.
    Pour half and half mixture over potatoes; add cheese.
    Mix together and put into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
