Mammy'S Sour Milk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. soft butter
    1 c. thick sour milk or buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; cut in butter. Add milk to make a soft dough. Knead about 20 turns; roll to a 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a 2-inch cutter. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 12 to 14 biscuits.
