Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Combine butter, oil and sugars in large bowl; mix well.
Add eggs; beat 1 minute until well blended.
Add vanilla; beat well. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Drop by small teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
