Lemon Custard Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    1/3 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. flour
    rind and juice of 2 lemons (grate rind)
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and flour.
    Beat egg yolks and milk together and add to the creamed mixture.
    Add lemon juice, rind and salt.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour into custard cups (large ones), set in a pan of hot water and bake about 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Custard will settle to the bottom and cake will rise to the top.
