Grandma'S Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 dashes salt
    4 Tbsp. water
    12 oz. can evaporated milk
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place the first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan.
    Mix together with whisk.
    Add evaporated milk.
    Stir well.
    Cook on medium-high heat.
    Boil rapidly for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Take off heat and add butter and vanilla.
    Great over vanilla ice cream.
