Dal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. small dried lentils
    1/4 c. butter or ghee
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 1/2 Tbsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    Wash beans; soak overnight.
    Drain lentils and cover with boiling water.
    Cook, covered, 45 minutes.
    Cook until tender. Add a little water, if necessary.
    Use small frypan.
    Melt butter.
    Add curry powder and onions and cook until onions are limp.
    Add to lentils.
    Add salt and pepper.
