Diabetic Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 egg or 2 egg whites
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. liquid artificial sweetener
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. each: cloves, nutmeg and allspice
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    vanilla
    flour (enough to drop, about 1 c.)
Preparation
    Cook raisins in a little water, about 1/2 cup, until water is almost gone. Add margarine and cool. Add ingredients in order given and drop on greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until done. These cookies take a little longer than regular cookie dough.
    You must refrigerate these cookies or they will mold.
    Freezes well.
