Collette'S Water Chestnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cans whole water chestnuts
    1 lb. bacon, cut into thirds
    2 c. ketchup
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wrap bacon around water chestnuts; secure with wooden toothpicks.
    Place on a rack in 11 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Use fork to slide toothpicks off the water chestnuts (bacon is cooked, so it will remain in place).
    Place in 11 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Mix ketchup and sugar together and pour on top.
    Bake an additional hour at 325\u00b0.
    Use decorative picks to serve.
