Swedish Coffee Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs (reserve 3 Tbsp. to brush on top later)
    3/4 c. sugar
    10 cardamon seed, crushed
    1 pt. luke warm milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 yeast
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Melt butter, shortening and salt.
    Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoon warm water, add to other ingredients, add flour to knead.
    Let rise to double.
    Braid into 2 large or 3 small loaves. Brush with egg.
    Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon or frost later.
