Creamy Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1/4 c. margarine
3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 bunch broccoli, chopped
2 qt. chicken broth
2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 c. light cream
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

In a large pot, saute onions in butter until transparent but not browned.
Add the sweet potatoes and broccoli.
Saute lightly.
Stir in broth, potatoes and seasonings.
Cook until almost done; add cream and heat through.
