Ingredients

3/4 c. honey
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. candied fruit
white raisins (optional)
Preparation

Gradually beat honey into shortening.
Add eggs; beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
Stir in fruit and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove immediately from pan.
