Mexi-Chili Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. (5 c.) corn or tortilla chips
    8 oz. sharp American cheese, shredded
    1 (15 oz.) can chili with beans
    1 (15 oz.) can enchilada sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Reserve 1 cup of the chips and 1/2 cup of the cheese.
    Combine remaining chips and cheese with the chili, enchilada sauce, tomato sauce and onion (green pepper if desired).
    Pour into 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Bake uncovered in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
    Spread top with sour cream; sprinkle with reserved cheese.
    Ring remaining corn chips around edge.
    Bake 5 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 servings.
