Microwave Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. pecans
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except soda, in 4 to 5-quart microwave dish.
    Cook on High for 12 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes.
    Stir in the teaspoon of baking soda until mixture becomes foamy.
    Continue cooking for 1 minute.
    This creates the brown color.
    Beat until mixture becomes tacky (about 1 minute). Drop by spoonfuls onto foil.
