Sweet And Sour Apples And Sausage Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cooking apple, cut into wedges
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 tbsp. diced scallions
    8 link sausages, cut in pieces (1 lb.)
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. applesauce
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Saute apple in 2 tablespoons butter in skillet until tender. Remove from skillet.
    Saute green pepper and scallions in butter remaining in skillet until tender.
    Remove from skillet.
    Saute sausages in skillet until browned.
    Pour off drippings.
