Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt (omit if margarine is used)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. pecans, chopped
2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. almonds, chopped
2 c. candied pineapple, diced
2 c. candied cherries, diced
2 c. raisins
2 tsp. lemon peel (optional)
Preparation

Mix fruit and nuts.
Put part of flour on fruit and nuts before putting into batter so they don't stick together.
Mix rest of ingredients with fruit and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls and bake on a greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Makes 12 dozen cookies.
