Asparagus And Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh asparagus, diagonally sliced into 1-inch pieces
    3/4 c. or 4 oz. cooked ham, cut into small pieces
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3/4 c. light cream
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/3 c. shredded Fontina cheese (2 oz.)
    1/3 c. snipped fresh parsley
    8 oz. hot cooked pasta (linguine, fettucini or spaghetti)
Preparation
    Cook asparagus in small amount of water, 8 minutes until tender or in a microwave.
    In saucepan, cook ham, onion and celery in margarine for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Add cream, nutmeg, pepper and Fontina cheese.
    Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in cooked asparagus.
    Toss asparagus mixture, Parmesan cheese and drained pasta until coated.
    Serve immediately.
