Heath Bar Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. melted oleo
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    5 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Heath bars
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients together and press in bottom of a 9 x 12-inch cake pan.
    Beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar, then add the sugar and beat.
    Pour over the crust mixture; bake for an hour at 250\u00b0.
