Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples, peeled and diced
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Peel and dice apples.
    Mix and let stand apples and sugar 1 hour.
    Stir often.
    Add dry ingredients to apples.
    Add oil, vanilla and eggs.
    Stir by hand.
    Bake in greased and floured tube cake pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
