Pineapple Cake Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 1/2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, beat.
    Add pineapple. Dissolve cornstarch in milk, add to mixture and mix.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until brown and firm in the center.
