Laurine'S Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Add sugar and corn syrup to boiling water.
Cook until hard ball stage is reached (250\u00b0).
Slowly add sugar mixture to stiffly beaten egg whites.
Add nuts, vanilla and salt.
Beat until cool and thick.
Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
Yields 3 to 4 dozen pieces.
