Venison Sausage Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground venison
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 tsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/4 c. melted oleo
    orange and lemon slices for garnish
    parsley sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first 11 ingredients, mixing well.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Brown well in oleo, stirring occasionally.
    Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
    Arrange on serving platter, garnish with fruit and parsley if desired.
    Yields about 5 dozen.
