Foolproof Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 c. broken walnuts
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can (1 2/3 c.) evaporated milk
    1 pt. Marshmallow Creme
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Butter sides of heavy 3-quart saucepan.
    Add sugar, evaporated milk and butter.
    Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (236\u00b0), stirring frequently.
    Remove from heat; add chocolate pieces, Marshmallow Creme, vanilla and broken walnuts.
    Beat until chocolate melts.
    Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Score while warm; cut when cool and firm.
