Great Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. vanilla pudding
    1 box vanilla wafers
    1/2 doz. bananas
    egg whites
Preparation
    Prepare pudding according to directions (cooked pudding is best).
    Use ovensafe bowl or baking dish.
    Spread a layer of pudding, then a layer of vanilla wafers and a layer of sliced bananas.
    Last layer should be pudding.
    Separate egg whites from yolks (use about 3 eggs).
    Beat egg whites on high speed of mixer. Add sugar until fluffy.
    Spread meringue over pudding.
    Bake in oven until meringue is golden brown.
    Cool before serving.
