Easy Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 lb. candied red cherries
1/2 lb. candied green cherries
1 lb. chopped dates
1 qt. pecans
4 whole eggs
4 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. flour (does not need to be cake flour)
Preparation

Put
candied
fruit,
dates
and pecans in large mixing bowl and
set aside.
Beat eggs, vanilla and salt.
Pour over the fruit
mixture
and
mix together.
Sift sugar and flour. Mix with other ingredients.
Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Line your bread pan
with foil.
Press cake batter into the pan.
Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Cool before storing.
