Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bacon, crispy fried and crumbled
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded natural Swiss cheese
    1/3 c. minced onion
    4 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. red cayenne
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry for 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie pan.
    Blend remaining ingredients.
    Pour into pie pan.
    Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300\u00b0.
    Bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
    Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
    Makes 6 servings.
