Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. buttermilk
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat this mixture very hard.
    Alternate flour and milk.
    Stir in buttermilk and then add bananas, nuts and vanilla.
    Bake in greased loaf pans in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
