Sausage And Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
3/4 c. milk
1 lb. pork sausage
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Prepare biscuit dough. Place flour in bowl.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender to consistency of coarse crumbs.
Add milk.
Stir with fork just until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Roll out dough on lightly floured board to 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
Spread sausage over dough almost to edge.
Roll up, jelly roll fashion.
Cut into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
Place rounds on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve immediately.
Makes 12 biscuits.
