Sand Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
1 c. ground almonds or walnuts
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
confectioners sugar
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients well using wooden spoon.
Pinch off small pieces of dough and roll into thickness of pencil.
Form into crescents.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until delicately brown.
Roll immediately in confectioners sugar.
Yield:
40 cookies.
