Punkin Center Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 9 medium potatoes
    1/2 lb. bacon (raw)
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Scrub the potatoes (new potatoes are especially good for this recipe).
    Cut them into 8 pieces each and place in a 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Cut the bacon into pieces and place on top of the potatoes. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top.
    Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
