Sugared Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) bags carrots
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 Tbsp. canola margarine
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut carrots crosswise in half; cut each half lengthwise into thin slices; then cut again into stick thin strips.
    Bring 1 inch of water to boil, heat carrots to boiling and reduce to low. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until tender, drain well.
    To carrots add margarine, brown sugar, salt and pepper over medium heat until margarine melts, stirring occasionally.
    Makes 6 accompaniment servings.
