Sweet-Potato Puff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 sweet potatoes
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. cream
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
16 marshmallows
Preparation

Peel and rinse potatoes.
Cover with water.
Bring to a boil and boil until tender; drain potatoes and mash.
Beat eggs, cream, salt, sugar and spices together, then beat into mashed potatoes. Whip until fluffy.
Start oven at 350\u00b0.
Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Pile whipped potatoes in baking dish.
Press marshmallows lightly into potatoes.
Bake, uncovered, for about 30 minutes, or until marshmallows are puffy, melting and brown. Makes 5 or 6 servings.
