Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift together and gradually add flour, cream of tartar and soda. Roll into small balls and roll in mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon. Bake 8 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
