Chicken And Wild Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pack long grain wild rice (6 oz.)
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 onion, chopped
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. half and half cream
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 1/2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 c. almonds, chopped
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions on package.
    Melt butter in frying pan, saute onion until golden brown.
    Add flour, salt and pepper to onion.
    Mix well.
    Gradually add cream and chicken broth. Stirring constantly, cook until thickened.
