Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. crushed pineapple (with juice)
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add one spoon at a time alternating with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in pineapple with juice and blend well.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back when lightly touched.
    Let stand for a few minutes in pan.
    Run knife around edges and remove carefully.
    Combine powdered sugar, margarine and drained pineapple.
    Pour over cake.
