Bubble Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg, beaten
    3 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 c. halved candied cherries
    1/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Top with remaining buttered balls.
    Cover, let rise 45 minutes or until double.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Remove from oven.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Ice with confectioners sugar icing and sprinkle with chopped, candied cherries.
