All-Purpose Bread Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices toasted bread, cut into cubes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 small onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 stick margarine or butter
Preparation
    Cook the onion and celery for 15 minutes in margarine and 1/2 cup water.
    Save the water from the celery and the margarine.
    Mix bread cubes, celery, onion, salt and pepper with 1/2 cup of the reserved liquid to moisten.
    Bake 35 minutes in a covered casserole pan or use as a stuffing in fish, beef roll-ups, poultry, etc.
