Diced Mcintosh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 c. diced apples
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Add sugar to diced apples and let stand 10 minutes.
Sift flour, soda and spices.
Blend oil and egg into apple mixture. Add flour mixture all at once and beat with wooden spoon until well blended.
Bake in well-greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
When cold, cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
