Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/8 c. oil
    2 c. Stivers self-rising corn meal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. milk (sweet or butter)
    1 Tbsp. corn meal
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Pour oil into cast-iron skillet or other baking pan and put in oven to heat oil.
    Mix next five ingredients. Remove skillet from oven and sprinkle corn meal on top of oil. Pour batter into skillet.
    Bake until golden brown approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
