Lemon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, beaten
    3 c. flour
    1/2 oz. pure lemon extract
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. golden raisins
    1 lb. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Grease loaf pans and line with waxed paper.
    Bake for 45 to 60 minutes at 300\u00b0, until almost done.
    Turn oven off and let bread stand in oven for 1 hour.
    Wrap and keep in refrigerator.
    Yields 3 medium loaves.
