Red Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 red peppers
    2 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Remove seeds from red peppers.
    Put through food chopper.
    Add salt and let stand for three hours.
    Drain well and add vinegar and sugar.
    Simmer slowly until consistency of jam, about 1 hour. Good with kraut and potato salad.
