Cherries That Bounce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. maraschino cherries
    1 1/2 c. bourbon
Preparation
    Pour off and discard 1/2 the cherry liquid.
    Fill jar to top with bourbon.
    Allow to age at least 3 weeks.
    Drink the \"bounce\" happily.
    Serve the cherries as cocktail nibbles.
    This will keep at room temperature for a year.
    The cherries get fatter and fatter.
