Best Southern Onion Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) stick margarine
4 medium onions, sliced 1/4-inch thick
12 soda crackers, crushed
1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
2 eggs
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Cook onions in butter until tender.
Cover bottom with half of crackers.
Add onions and cream of mushroom soup in layers until dish is full.
Cover the top with the beaten eggs; pour milk over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, or until brown and bubbly.
