Old-Fashioned Peanut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. Blackburn syrup
3 or 4 c. ground roasted peanuts
pinch of salt
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Bring syrup to
boil; let boil about 3 minutes.
Add peanuts. Stir; add soda and stir.
Pour onto buttered dish.
You can roll in balls or let firm and cut in squares.
