Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chicken flavor stuffing mix
1 c. hot water
16 large mushrooms
5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1/2 small green pepper, chopped
1/2 small red pepper, chopped
Preparation

Heat broiler.
Stir stuffing mix and water in medium bowl. Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems.
Cook and stir mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons hot margarine until lightly browned. Arrange in shallow baking dish.
Cook and stir chopped mushroom stems and peppers in skillet until tender.
Stir into prepared stuffing.
Spoon into mushroom caps.
Drizzle tops with remaining margarine.
Makes 8 appetizer servings.
