Mexican Pecan Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. white Karo
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix 2 1/2 cups sugar and milk; bring to a boil.
    Melt 1/2 cup sugar; add to milk and sugar.
    Cook to medium ball in cold water. Add vanilla and butter.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
    Cool until set.
