Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
    1/2 c. butter (softened)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 to 6 oz. can Macadamia nuts, chopped
    1 (12 oz.) bag white chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix sugars, butter or shortening, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
    Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Drop dough by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until light brown.
    Do not overcook.
    Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
    Makes 3 dozen.
