Mary Jezek'S Jumbo Cornburger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 slightly beaten eggs
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. medium cracker crumbs
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped canned pimento
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. rubbed sage
    1 medium tomato, cut in wedges
    2 oz. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Combine beef with next 5 ingredients and spread half of mixture in 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine remaining ingredients except tomato and cheese.
    Spoon over meat.
    Cover with remaining meat mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Last 5 minutes, arrange tomato on top and sprinkle with cheese.
    Let melt slightly.
