Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. oil or applesauce*
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 can drained crushed pineapple*
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Combine oil and sugar; mix well.
    Add 1/2 the dry ingredients; mix well.
    Add vanilla, nuts, carrots and pineapple.
    Mix well.
    Add dry ingredients that remain and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Pour into greased tube pan.
    Bake about 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
