Broccoli-Mushroom Scallop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms
    2 tsp. grated onion
    2 Tbsp. whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    3/4 to 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Cook broccoli until tender.
    Cut into 2-inch pieces.
    Melt butter over low heat in a saucepan.
    Saute mushrooms and onion in butter 5 minutes.
    Blend in flour and seasonings.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in milk.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
    Spread broccoli in 1-quart casserole.
    Pour mushroom sauce over broccoli.
    Sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until tender and golden brown.
